Unforgettable country love songs
There have been many different types of love songs written. Of all of them the ones performed by country music artist really stand out the most. They can make you reach deep down inside yourself and pull out emotions that you never knew existed. Some have happy endings and others do not. Some you may have an idea of what the song means and when you see the video you realize that the artist had something totally different in mind when they wrote it or performed it. Some are about the power of love and how it overcomes obstacles in it’s way. Some are about love that is lost, and still others are about the might have beens. There is a country love song that fits just about every situation imaginable.
Some of the best country love songs were performed by artists that are no longer with us like the late great Patsy Cline, or Johnny Cash and June Carter Cash. Some are performed by newer artist such as Sugarland, and Taylor Swift. Based on the ratings that the newer artists are getting I think it is safe to assume that someday they will be country music legends also.
When talking about unforgettable country love songs I am sure that the following tunes will never be forgotten.
Patsy Cline – Crazy & Sweet Dreams
Johnny Cash – Ring of Fire & I walk the line
Vince Gill – I still believe in you & When I call your name
George Jones – He stopped loving her today
Hank Jr. – Blues Man
Lorrie Morgan – I guess you had to be there
Faith Hill – Just breathe
Alabama – When we make love
Now if some of those songs don’t bring tears to your eyes then you aren’t listening to the music close enough. Those songs were written by people that had no doubt felt the intense power of true love and in some cases the terrible sting of loosing it. The artist performing them are in a category all by themselves.
